Friday Inspiration - Earth, Air, Fire, and Water

You never know what you'll find when you start looking at the archives of favorite sites!  Somehow I missed this post on Lion Brand Yarns site about Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.  This piece is made from 45 different crocheted artworks that represent one of the four elements.  The artists combined them all into one collaborative artwork.

What's really nice, though, is going to the International Freeform Crochet Guild site and looking at each of the artists' individual works.

I love Barbara Hillery Van Elsen's Fire piece.

 And if you're still intrigued, there are collaborative works from several years to peruse!  2009's Four Seasons is one of my favorites.
